What we Believe

What we believe as a Messianic Congregation

We believe …that the Bible which is composed of both the Tanakh ( Old Testament) and the B’rit Hadashah ( New Testament) is the only infallible and authoritative Word of G-d.

We believe … that G-d is Echad as declared in the Shema, ” a united one” or Deuteronomy 6:4,Isaiah 48:16-17.
“compound unity” eternally in three persons. Matthew 28:19, Luke 3:22, 2 Corinthians 13:14, 1 John 5:7-13

We believe … that it is important for the people of G-d to know Him intimately. G-d has chosen to reveal Himself through His Names within the Bible.
Each name of G-d reveals His character. it is important to know these Names and the meaning of these Names, since they give significance to the particular scriptures that they are revealed and written in. G-ds incredible power and character are revealed in His Names.  The name of Adonai is a strong tower, a righteous person runs to it and is raised high{above danger} Proverbs 18:10

We believe… in the Deity of Yeshua HaMashiach ( Jesus the Messiah) and that Yeshua is the Son of G-d.Psalm 2:7, John 3:16-18. Yeshua is the ” Seed of the Woman” as G-d promised. Genesis 3:15 and that Yeshuas virgin birth Isaiah 7:14, Matthew 1:28-22 was to be a signto Israel that Yeshua is indeed HaMashiach as prophesied in the Tanakh Isaiah 9: 6-7

We believe … in Yeshua HaMashiachs life, Yeshua’s miracles yesterday and today. Matthew 8:46-17, John 14:12, Matthew 28: 18-20.
Yeshua’s vicarious and sacrificial death as our atonement. Isaiah 53:8, 2 Corinthians 5:21.
Yeshua’s bodily resurrection. Psalm 16:10, Luke 24:1-8, 1 Corinthians 11:26.
Yeshua’s personal future return for His followers, both living and dead. 1 Thessalonians 4:13-18.
Yeshua’s future establishment of His Kingdom on Earth. Isaiah 9: 6-7, Zechariah 12: 6-10, Zechariah 14: 5, 16-21

We believe … in the present ministry of Ruach HaKodesh ( Holy Spirit) by whose indwelling within the Believer in Yeshua enables them to live a powerful, G-dly life.

Praying in the Ruach HaKodesh – Ephesians 6:18

We believe… that Yeshua, G-ds only Son, became the sacrifice { Atonement} by the shedding of His Blood on the execution stake (cross) for the cleansing of our sins. We are saved by grace through faith in Yeshua HaMashiach and regenerated, renewed by Ruach HaKodesh.
Life in the blood- Leviticus 14:11

Living by Faith & Trust – Habakkuk 2:4, Hebrews 11:6
One must be Born Again – John 3:3

We believe … that the middle wall of partition which in times past separated Jews and Gentiles, has been broken down. The enmity between Jews and Gentiles has been eradicated by Yeshua HaMashiah.
G-d shows no partiality – Acts 10: 34-35, Ephesians 2: 11-22

We believe … in the resurrection of both the saved and the lost. The saved to everlasting life and the lost to eternal separation from G-d, the latter being consigned to a state of everlasting punishment.
Eternal Life/ Eternal Damnation – Daniel 12:2, Matthew 25:46
Lambs Book of Life- Psalm 69: 27-28, Revelation 20: 12-15, 21:27

We believe… that the New Covenant body of Yeshua is composed of both Jews and Gentiles who have accepted Yeshua HaMashiach as the promised Redeemer and now they are free to WORSHIP TOGETHER in the House of G-d. Body of Yeshua – John 17:21, 1 Corinthians 12:13
Worshiping together in Unity – Psalm 133: 1, Acts 2: 42-47, Hebrews 10:25

We believe… that as Jewish followers of Yeshua, we are called to maintain our Jewish Biblical Heritage and remain part of our people and the universal body of believers. This is part of our identity and a witness to the faithfulness of G-d. Acts 21: 20-24 Romans 3:1-4,

We believe… that the Jews according to the flesh ( descendants of Abraham through Isaac, whether through bloodline of the mother or father) who place their faith in Israels Messiah Yeshua have not disowned or separated themselves from their race and Judaic Heritage,
but remain sons and daughters of Israel. Gentiles who place their faith in Israels Messiah Yeshua are also spiritually sons and daughters of Abraham.

Oneness in Yeshua – Galatians 3: 28-29
